Responsibilities include handling lottery and tobacco/alcohol sales with proper age verification, offering upsell opportunities, and being willing to cross-train in other departments. Weekend/holiday availability and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Be prepared to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Physically capable of lifting 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Flexible and able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring age verification and legal compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the store interior and exterior clean and safe, including bathrooms, parking lot, and pump area.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain fresh and full merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including sweeping, mopping, windows, and entryways.
• Be willing to cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
