GPM Investments is hiring a Cashier/Sales Associate at Store 3606 in Sumter, SC. The role involves greeting customers, operating the register, and ensuring clean, safe store conditions both inside and outside.

You’ll assist with lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales while meeting age verification requirements and providing friendly service. We offer full- and part-time positions with flexible shifts, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be on your feet.
• Good communication in English (read, write, speak).
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Capable of lifting 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Passt pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Upsell products where appropriate to increase sales.
• Keep store clean inside and out, including bathrooms, pumps, and parking areas.
• Stock shelves and displays to maintain fresh merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and entryways; sweep, mop and windows.
• Willing to cross-train in other departments, including deli as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
