Englefield, Inc. is seeking a friendly cashier to join our Duchess Team Member family. Welcome customers, process transactions, and help ensure a smooth checkout experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will handle cash and card payments, operate modern POS systems, stock shelves, and assist with inventory while adhering to safety and store policies. Prior retail experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers.
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
