Englefield, Inc. seeks a friendly cashier to join the Duchess Team in Wilmington. You’ll greet customers, handle transactions, and keep the store orderly while promoting loyalty rewards and assisting with inventory control.

Qualifications

• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
• Comfort with technology—modern tools to assist work efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards loyalty program with best prices and offers.
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
