Job summary

Professional Case Management in Indiana is hiring Part-time Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide in-home healthcare. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, delivering personal care and support, while building meaningful relationships and improving quality of life.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliable transportation, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-step TB skin test and submit proof to Human Resources.
• Free from health problems that may be injurious to client, self, and coworkers.
• Possess reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care prepared by the supervising RN based on the client’s needs and encourage independence while protecting client confidentiality and dignity.
• Assist clients with non-skilled personal care including bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, mouth care, shaving, dressing, feeding, ambulation, transfers and mobility.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, dishwashing, laundry, and attending medical appointments; provide respite care as needed.
• Follow emergency procedures and report incidents to the RN promptly.
