Job summary

Golden Care in San Diego County, CA seeks compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical support and personal care in clients' homes. Responsibilities include ADLs, companionship, dementia support, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation.

Requires background check, valid CA HCA registration or willingness to obtain, and a US work eligibility. Starting at $19.00/hour with flexible day/evening/overnight and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background screening.
• Current negative TB test or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• California Home Care Aide registration or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal care per care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Support memory care and dementia-related needs.
• Assist with mobility and safety, transfers and falls prevention.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep as needed.
• Transport to appointments and errands when required.
• Document changes and communicate with supervisors using mobile apps.
