Job summary

Golden Care is seeking attentive caregivers to provide high-quality, non-medical care in clients' homes in San Diego, California. The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and respect, with a focus on improving clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities include following care plans, monitoring health status, and communicating with the office. Flexible 6–15 hour shifts and bi-weekly pay support a balanced schedule for caregivers. Training is provided, with benefits for qualified staff.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of professional caregiving experience.
• Willing to register as California HCA.
• Able to clear a DOJ/FBI background check.
• Current TB test or willingness to complete one.
• Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Provide 2 forms of ID (e.g., Driver’s license, Social Security, Passport)

Responsibilities

• Follow clients’ plan of care, safety precautions and procedures.
• Monitor, observe and report changes in clients' health status to a supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with the office and respond promptly to communications.
