Job summary

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina is seeking an Event Services Attendant (Banquet Server) to assist with setup, service, and equipment handling for weddings, conferences, and corporate events. You will ensure tables are set, clear and reset, maintain sanitation, and respond to guest needs to ensure a seamless event experience.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet server experience is strongly preferred.
• Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and lift and carry a moderate amount of weight.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are appropriately set up prior to the event and properly maintained throughout event.
• Clear plates and glassware from tables and clean and reset tables as needed during the event.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and serving areas throughout event.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless and successful event.
• Respond to guest needs and requests in a timely manner.
• Read, understand and implement the listed specifications on the Banquet Event Order.
