Job summary

Citizens Bank is hiring a Teller to greet customers in our branch lobbies and help them with simple transactions using mobile apps and ATMs. You will build meaningful experiences by listening to needs and offering personalized financial solutions, while following all cash handling policies.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and opportunities to grow with the bank. Hours are 30 per week, with some weekends and evenings, and starting pay is $21 per hour with potential increases

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and demonstrate how to use our mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers to Bankers for the next steps.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits; respond to questions and concerns.
• Follow all financial policies and cash handling procedures.
