Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Machine Operator to operate bakery-pastry machinery and downstream equipment, monitor the continuous flow from mixing to packaging, and adjust control panels as needed. You will collaborate with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to uphold GMPs and company procedures.

The role requires flexibility with start times, potential weekend work, and the ability to work in a noisy, indoor production environment.

Qualifications

• Good verbal, written, and mathematical skills.
• Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the baking processes.
• Patience is necessary to maintain and facilitate a series of continuous events.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor and control the continuous flow of product through the production process.
• Collaborate with maintenance and supervisors to maintain a safe work environment and GMP adherence.
• Document weight, product yield, downtime and other metrics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and changeovers as required.
