Job summary

ONE SHOT AUTOMATION LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Automation Engineer with hands-on Ignition/SCADA programming expertise. You will design, develop, and deploy Ignition-based automation solutions for diverse industrial clients, and work on PLC programming, data integration, and HMI development.

You will collaborate with clients, gather requirements, and perform system testing and startup support at client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ignition/SCADA platforms and HMI development.
• Strong PLC programming: Ladder, Structured Text, FBD.
• Proficient in Python scripting and SQL for data integration.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols: OPC-UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Ignition/SCADA applications for industrial systems.
• Program and configure HMI screens, tags, and historian data in Ignition.
• Develop Python scripts and SQL integrations within Ignition projects.
• Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to gather requirements.
