Job summary
ONE SHOT AUTOMATION LLC in San Antonio, TX seeks an Automation Engineer specialized in Ignition/SCADA to design, develop, and deploy industrial automation solutions.
You will program HMI/SCADA screens, implement Python scripting and SQL integrations, and collaborate with clients to deliver custom control systems on-site. A Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation is preferred, with strong PLC/industrial networking knowledge.
Qualifications
- Experience with Ignition/SCADA and PLC programming.
- Knowledge of OPC-UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- On-site work readiness in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Ignition/SCADA applications.
- Program and configure HMI screens, tags, and historian data.
- Develop Python scripting and SQL integrations within Ignition projects.
- Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to gather requirements.
- Perform PLC programming, integration, and troubleshooting across platforms.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and startup support at client facilities.
- Maintain documentation including network architecture, I/O lists, and functional design specifications.
