Job summary

One Shot Automation LLC is seeking a driven Automations Engineer/Project Engineer to join our team. This role designs, implements, and optimizes automated systems for industrial and commercial applications, taking projects from concept to completion.

You will work on cutting-edge automation projects in a fast-paced environment, manage PLC/HMI/SCADA configurations, and collaborate with clients to define scope, timelines, and deliverables. Travel to job sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
Hands-on PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar.
Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and industrial control systems.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control solutions for industrial and commercial applications.
Manage engineering projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation components.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Troubleshoot automation system issues, minimize downtime, and optimize performance.
Develop technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
Conduct site visits, system startups, and on-site commissioning as needed.
