Job summary

Telos Health Systems in Memphis, TN, is seeking an Attending Physician (MD/DO) to provide on-site primary care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers schedule flexibility, clinical autonomy, and a rewarding practice focused on post-acute and long-term care.

You will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team with NP/PA support, telehealth opportunities, and a predictable rounding schedule, with productivity-based compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Emergency Medicine.
• Active Tennessee medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Interest in skilled nursing, post-acute, and long-term care medicine.
• Excellent communication and collaborative care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for residents in skilled nursing facilities.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform admission evaluations, routine follow-up visits, and medically necessary assessments.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation therapists, specialists, and facility leadership.
• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as appropriate.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
