Job summary

Envirotest, the Maryland VEIP station operator, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Station Manager in local operations at our Owings Mills facility.

This full-time role offers a flex schedule Monday-Saturday, 40 hours weekly, daytime hours, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). You will help manage testing procedures, staffing, cash handling, and public relations with customers and the community.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of test procedures.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent; higher education desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in public relations and customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing the inspection station in accordance with company objectives.
• Shares accountability for station operations including troubleshooting, cash handling, and scheduling rest and meals.
• Assumes responsibilities of the station manager in their absence.
• Ensures good public relations between the Company, employees and the community.
• Assists in opening and closing the facility.
• Maintains safety for customers and employees.
