Job summary

ABS Kids in Utah is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. We welcome entry-level candidates and seasoned RBTs, with shifts 9:00am-6:00pm, 12:00pm-7:00pm, 3:00pm-7:00pm, or 4:00pm-7:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Training is provided and on-the-job support ensures you learn quickly. You will use ABA therapy, play, and data recording to help kids develop real-life skills, maintain a safe environment, and grow through a launch career path with bonuses,

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills and daily living.
