Job summary

A-line Staffing Solutions seeks 2 Massachusetts-licensed Registered Pharmacists to join a 24-hour Taunton, MA pharmacy. Flexible scheduling with shifts starting as early as 8:00 AM and extending to 12:00 AM. Weekend shifts optional; potential to extend beyond 60 days.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, compliant care. Active MA RPh license and accredited PharmD required.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist (RPh) license required.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program.
• Ability to safely and accurately dispense medications.
• Knowledge of medication therapy, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

• Accept, verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient medication compliance, usage patterns, and potential drug-related issues.
• Ensure medications are appropriate for patients and comply with laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Counsel patients regarding medications, dosage, side effects, and interactions.
• Provide consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Identify and communicate drug-related problems to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Compound medications for internal and external use.
• Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and interns.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and staff.
• Educate patients on use of medical devices (BP monitors, glucose meters).
• Provide patient-focused medication education.
