Job summary

Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring caregivers in Newport Beach to provide one-on-one care for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes flexible shifts, weekly pay, and a supportive team, with pay at $19.00 per hour.

All shifts available; duties include supporting daily living activities, applying behavior management at times, and maintaining strong client-family relationships.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• Ability to pass a background check, live scan, and reference check.
• Current TB test, Physical, CPR and First Aid certification (valid within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors, to relieve family members from daily living activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
• Engage with the client through activities that they enjoy.
• Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
• Provide crisis intervention with the client’s safety in mind.
• Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
