Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA is recruiting for Flexible Staffing RN positions within the FlexCare pool. You’ll provide licensed, high-quality nursing care across WesleyLife communities, stepping into open shifts on days, evenings, nights, and weekends to support coverage needs.

As an internal clinical team member, you’ll travel between sites, maintain compliance with care standards, complete accurate documentation, and collaborate with care teams to deliver person-centered services.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Ability to travel between WesleyLife communities as needed.
• Minimum 16 hours per pay period when shifts are available.
• Reliable transportation required to support travel between WesleyLife communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered clinical care in alignment with individualized care plans.
• Support multiple WesleyLife communities by traveling to locations based on staffing needs.
• Assist teams during periods of increased demand, including staff shortages, vacations, and higher-acuity situations.
• Maintain compliance with WesleyLife policies and state/federal care standards.
• Complete documentation accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate adaptability, collaboration, and professionalism in every care environment.

We are seeking compassionate, dependable clinical professionals to join our Flexible Staffing Pool as RNs. FlexCare team members support multiple WesleyLife communities by stepping into open shifts - including days, evenings, nights, and weekends - wherever coverage is needed most.

As part of our internal clinical team, FlexCare professionals serve across multiple communities, providing licensed, high-quality care while enjoying the flexibility to build a schedule that fits their life.

• Premium hourly pay (higher than standard PRN roles)

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered clinical care in alignment with individualized care plans.

Education & Experience

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active LPN license in the state of Iowa


• Registered Nurse (RN): Active RN license in the state of Iowa


• Ability to work in various care environments within the WesleyLife network


• Minimum 16 hours per pay period when shifts are available


• Reliable transportation is required to support travel between WesleyLife communities as needed
