Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. The role uses our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more, based on your availability. You’ll gain hands-on site experience across industries while helping to protect clients and assets.

This position offers potential for growth and flexibility, with irregular shifts possible. A minimum of 1 year security experience is preferred, and the role includes benefits and ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment process.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 for armed posts in some states).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
