Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across sectors like healthcare, education, and finance. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to select open shifts based on your availability, gaining hands-on site experience and growth opportunities.

You may work irregular shifts with little advance notice. Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring entrances, reporting incidents, and assisting customers in a courteous, professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in certain states).
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rules and regulate entry/exit of personnel.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs as required.
