Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer in Texas City, TX. This part-time position offers flexible shifts, use of our shift-pickup platform, and the chance to gain site experience across industries.

Expect to patrol, monitor, and respond to security events while delivering professional service to clients. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Background check as a condition of employment and possible drug screen
• No prior experience required
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed) and adapt to various posts
• Effective communication and ability to interact with the public
• Reliable and able to operate radio/console equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or hazardous conditions and report them.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities as needed.
• Control access and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; maintain written logs.
• Assist customers and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
