Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to protect client sites in Houston, TX. The role uses our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on availability, offering hands-on experience across healthcare, education, and finance environments.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years verifiable experience) and a valid driver’s license. Background checks and drug screening are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or notify authorities in case of fire or unauthorized entry.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe and protect company property from theft; ensure proper removal of property.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
