Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in a role that offers shift-pickup flexibility across multiple sites. You will patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitor for security concerns, and respond to emergencies while maintaining professional interactions with clients and staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to obtain required licenses, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicles.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; no prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to operate radio/console and monitor entrances/exits.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site post orders.
