Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation in San Ramon, CA is hiring Flex Security Officers on a part-time basis starting immediately. The role requires flexibility to cover days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays, with a wage of $24 per hour.

Ideal candidates have CA Guard Card, good customer service, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to patrol and respond to incidents. This position offers opportunities for advancement as openings arise and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State BSIS California Guard Card.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Computer skills are a must.

• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must pass Pre-Employment background check.
• Must multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Comfortable with Outdoor Environment in Diverse Weather Conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site access control and visitor logs.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage visitor check-ins.
• Maintain a professional presence while enforcing corporate security policies.
• Conduct patrols and safety checks.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Support workplace safety initiatives and report potential hazards.
• Follow all company, client, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

• Flexibility with Shifts is Required**

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, day, evenings, overnights and holidays, if needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. Must have active CA State training and Guard Card licensing.

Work Schedule:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. (varies by site).
• Capable of extended standing, walking, or patrolling.
