Job summary

Allied Universal in Warrenville, IL seeks a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to patrol client sites, respond to incidents, and support a range of industries. In this role you can expect to work 30–40 hours per week with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within a leading security provider.

You will be assigned to irregular shifts with little notice to support client needs, gaining broad site exposure and the potential for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit entry to authorized persons and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
