Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a FLEX Security Officer for a facility in Old Bridge, NJ. Starting salary is $18.75 per hour, with flexible shifts joining a broad client base across healthcare, education, and finance sectors.

The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer will use our shift-pickup platform to claim shifts that fit your availability, building site experience while keeping a balanced schedule. No prior experience is required in some cases; 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills essential for site operations.
• Ability to adapt to different post assignments and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property adheres to client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
