Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a flexible Support Route Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations throughout Des Moines, IA. You will cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and timely deliveries.

The role offers 10–15 hours of overtime weekly, weekend OT as needed, and starting pay from $21.00 to $26.25 per hour based on experience. Full-time status, generous benefits, and a nonexempt wage structure provide stability.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or unassigned routes as needed.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck efficiently to protect packages.
• Possess ability to travel.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
