Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced executive to manage a Cisco EMS Manufacturing Partner relationship and optimize commercial outcomes. You will lead cross-functional collaboration, drive cost and performance improvements, and oversee risk and financial planning.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in electronics manufacturing, strong contract knowledge, and a proven ability to influence without direct authority. MBA preferred; strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain.
• Understanding of cost drivers in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with contracts and commercial terms.
• Ability to collaborate and develop creative solutions to sophisticated problems.
• Bachelor’s Degree or MBA preferred.

• Self-motivated with a focus on execution.
• Experience influencing teams without direct reporting authority.
• Ability to explain complicated information and lay out pros and cons of alternatives.
• Proven project management and conflict resolution skills.

• Manage and negotiate commercial aspects of the relationship with a Cisco EMS Manufacturing Partner, including business strategies, investments, pricing, costs, performance and legal agreements
• Act as a general manager for all engagements and touch points between Cisco and the EMS Partner
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand tradeoffs, influence business decisions and drive satisfactory resolutions
• Partner cross-functionally across regions, functions and product lines to optimize cost and performance across the product portfolio
• Manage commercial claims
• Participate in annual and quarterly financial planning
• Report on performance to plan
• Perform risk and opportunity analyses
• Provide subject-matter expertise, advice and mentorship to Cisco and the Manufacturing Partner
