Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc in Chicago is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees. You will perform general security duties, patrol on foot, and interact professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.

Strong English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to pass training and background checks are required. This is a full-time, on-site role with reliable hours and opportunities to contribute to brand safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must be able to pass all necessary training.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Active PERC and 20hr.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements, as well as post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.

• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer and strong written/spoken communication skills.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions as an Unarmed Security Officer.
