Job summary

Titan Security seeks a Security Officer to deliver excellent customer service at the front desk, manage access, and monitor cameras across assigned properties. You will also patrol to deter theft and respond to incidents, while maintaining clear logs and assisting management.

Ideal candidates have experience in door staff or security-related roles, are 18+, and can pass drug and background checks, with ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Experience as door staff, receptionist, or in customer service.
• Comfortable around pets.
• Able to acquire Illinois PERC.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to meet physical functions (lift 50+ lbs, patrol, stairs, weather).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Security Officers

of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
