Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and guiding a group of 8–13 students. The role emphasizes a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

You will oversee daily supervision, routines, meals, transportation, devotions, and budgeting with a nine-on, three-off schedule and potential transition to a placed houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
