Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. This two-person role lives on-campus, supervising 8-13 students in a home and guiding academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, health and wellness management, activities planning, chapels, and budgeting. Nine days on, three off, with potential transition to placed houseparent over time.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
