Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. The role resides in on-campus student homes, supporting 8–13 students with care, mentorship, and structured routines to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

Couples live in housing, work a nine-on/three-off schedule initially, and may transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, and planning/engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
