Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of about 8–13 students.

The schedule is nine days on, three days off, with a pathway to a placed houseparent role. Responsibilities include supervising, budgeting, driving, activities, and daily devotions.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role for married couples.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
• Valid U.S. driveranes license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
