About the role

We are seeking a natural leader with a flair for hospitality to join the Savory Hospitality team as a Flex Attendant at one of our onsite amenity spaces. Our ideal candidate will anticipate and address the needs of the company and our clientele with a heavy focus on organization, inventory management, and hospitality.

Our business dining amenity experiences are one of our unique services that offer team members the experience of working alongside the Savory team as well as directly interfacing with our onsite client on a day-to-day basis.

This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our onsite Flex Attendant:

Support the team in all areas of the operation as needed.

Maintain Clean work spaces. Including tasks such as washing pots, pans, catering equipment, segregating and removing trash and placing it in the designated containers, sweep and mop floors; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas as needed.

Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift.

Assist on pantry floors as needed.

Assist the Barista if needed, making classic espresso beverages with steamed milk and matcha. Training can be provided.

Assist with lunch service/catering deliveries including set up and clean up.

Keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized

Assist with changing out empty CO2 or Nitrogen tanks on all floors.

Assist with cleaning/ maintaining equipment including but not limited to water dispensers, cold brew, ice machines, coffee brewers, and bean to cup machines.

Receive orders from vendors and put in storage as needed.

Perform weekly deep cleaning tasks to ensure all equipment is up to health and safety standards.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Prioritization, organization, and management of multiple tasks

Flexible availability including early mornings, days, evenings, dependent on our event schedule and season.

Your experience should show us the following:

At least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage environment (retail or catering preferred)

Proven ability to anticipate client team needs and multitask to fulfill requests

Quick thinking and conflict resolution skills

A warm personality, honest values, and the ability to motivate a team

Ability to remain patient and calm in a high-volume environment

Job requirements

Ability to walk and stand throughout entire shift

Capable of repeatedly lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
