Pay Range: $20.00

Job Summary: Performs a full range of housekeeping services at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites or Navy Lodge, including cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, storage areas, laundry rooms, exterior spaces, and more. Uses hand and powered equipment to vacuum, mop, dust, scrub, wash, move items, polish, and remove debris. Maintains cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms and public areas, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure proper sanitation and presentation.
• Change linens, inspect mattresses, and restock amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, stairways, laundry areas, and exterior spaces.
• Perform deep cleaning as scheduled or upon guest checkout, including carpet cleaning, window washing, and wall cleaning.
• Assist with loading/unloading supplies, minor repairs, and maintenance.
• Ensure security and privacy of guests, report unusual circumstances, and handle lost and found items.
• Assist with breakfast setup and cleanup, and obtain necessary food handling certifications.
• Complete safety and security training, maintain a safe environment, and follow protocols.
• Perform laundry operations and may require driving between facilities.

Qualifications: No experience required; High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Moderate physical effort required, including moving furniture and using cleaning equipment.

Additional notes: May need to obtain NHG housekeeping certification within 6 months. Performs other duties as assigned.
