Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines seeks a Manager of Housekeeping and Laundry Projects to lead fleetwide initiatives that uphold brand standards across staterooms and public areas. You will own CAPEX/R&M budgeting, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with Newbuilds, Refurbishment, Design and Hotel Maintenance.

The role emphasizes dry-dock planning, Look Book governance, and team leadership for Floor Care and Upholstery programs, ensuring guest experience remains premier across vessels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting and CAPEX/R&M tracking.
• Strong analytical skills, including reporting in Excel and Tableau.
• Strong creative and brand-building skills.
• Project management across multiple concurrent shipboard initiatives.
• Vendor sourcing, negotiation and relationship management.
• Working knowledge of HESS procedures.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Copilot, etc.

Responsibilities

• Brand standards and project planning. Develop project plans, presentations and SOPs covering fleetwide housekeeping brand standards for vehicle look and upkeep.
• Oversee Look Book guidelines for staterooms, public areas, meeting spaces and restrooms; coordinate with multiple departments to maintain consistency.
• Lead ordering and logistics for fleetwide housekeeping projects; represent department at dry dock meetings; allocate CAPEX and R&M funds by ship.
• Build annual Floor Care and Upholstery plan; coordinate with Crew Operations on staffing and budgeting.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and tracking of R&M and CAPEX for soft goods and housekeeping equipment; manage vendor relationships and negotiations.
• Develop uniforms and signage fleetwide; track signage by ship class and support vendor cost-efficiency reviews.
• Create the "Two-Minute Trainer" and similar tools to guide shipboard teams on R&M, CAPEX and system use.
