Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group seeks a capable Assistant Laundry Master to supervise the shipboard laundry operations. You will lead the laundry crew, ensure timely processing of linens and uniforms, and coordinate with the Laundry Master, Executive Housekeeper, and Facilities Manager to maintain equipment and hygiene standards.

You will be responsible for daily inspections, proper sorting, and addressing guest-related concerns in line with onboard guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as Assistant Laundry Master in a 4/5-star hotel, cruise, or upscale industry.
• Proven ability to lead a laundry crew and engage with guests when needed.
• Ability to liaise with Laundry Master, Executive Housekeeper, and Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the shipboard laundry.
• Direct and manage laundry crew to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate cleaning and maintenance of laundry equipment and linen flow.
• Ensure proper sorting of linen and treatment of different fabrics and soils.
• Oversee cycles, temperatures, and sanitation to meet guest expectations.
• Escalate issues to Laundry Master and Executive Housekeeper as needed.
