Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an on-site role to manage entry and exit of rental fleet vehicles, perform inspections, and handle paperwork for vehicle transitions across multiple brands. The position emphasizes attention to detail, outdoor work, and accuracy to support fleet operations and customer experience.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexibility for shifts, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• Previous experience in auto service, fleet operations, or vehicle maintenance is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entry and exit of vehicles within the rental fleet, including pre-delivery and post-use inspections.
• Prepare newer vehicles for customer rental and support vehicle transitions for retail or auctions.
• Maintain organized movement and positioning of vehicles to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure records are accurate and up to date for fleet accuracy and customer experience.
