Job summary

Loomis is seeking a skilled Mechanic to service and repair fleet vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, and test repairs. The role requires experience with both automatic and manual transmissions and the ability to lift heavy parts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably in a dealership.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license (C or better) and ability to drive various transmissions.
• Must meet FMCSA regulations and DOT brake/annual inspection certifications.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of all fleet vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections as specified.
• Diagnose mechanical, engine and electrical issues on vehicles.
• Drive vehicles for testing, transfer, and parts delivery.
• Perform inventory and order parts as needed.
