Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to service and repair a variety of vehicles at our Fayetteville, NC location. This role reports to the Branch Manager and involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and vehicle testing to ensure safe, reliable fleet operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance or dealership.
• Valid driver’s license (Class C or better) and ability to drive various transmissions.
• Must meet FMCSR section 391 qualifications and DOT brake/annual inspection certs.
• Ability to read technical manuals and write orders.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of all fleet vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance (lube, oil change, replace belts, hoses, inspect brakes, repack bearings, check tires).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, engine and electrical irregularities on all size vehicles.
• Drive automatic and standard shift vehicles for testing, transfer, and parts delivery.
• Inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
