Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Fleet Operations and Maintenance Technician in Fayetteville, AR. The role reports to the Branch Manager and focuses on keeping our fleet safe and reliable, performing service, repair, and preventive maintenance.

The job requires 5+ years in fleet maintenance, a valid driver's license (C or better) with the ability to drive 2,000–50,000 lb vehicles, and DOT/FMCSA qualifications. You will diagnose mechanical, engine, and electrical issues and manage parts inventories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fleet maintenance experience (prefer dealership).
• Valid driver’s license (C or better) and ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions from 2,000 to 50,000 lbs in size.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
• Must meet DOT standards to achieve brake and annual inspection certifications. A minimum of 1 year experience or a certificate from an approved training program.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of all fleet vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, oil changes, belts, hoses, brakes, bearing repack, tires) monthly.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, engine and electrical issues on all size vehicles.
• Drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles for testing, transfer, and parts pickup/delivery.
• Perform inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
