Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Maintenance Tech II in Greensboro, NC. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with compensation at $30.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Two to four years medium/heavy truck fleet mechanic repair experience.
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and AC skills are a must.
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required.
• Willingness to obtain ASE Certification within the 1st 6 months of being hired.
• Flexible and able to work in a team or independent atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs and related duties within qualification level.
• Test-drives vehicles to ensure repair resolves the problem.
• Arranges for and obtains inspections and approval of major repairs before release.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and productive work area in compliance with guidelines.
• Records time spent, parts used and repairs conducted on appropriate form.
• Performs road calls and on-the-road repairs as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe conditions or vehicle abuse.
