Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Traveling Installation Technician, Fleet to deploy 12-volt technology in fleet vehicles and support customer deployments across the US. This 12-month W2 contract travels Monday through Friday, with weekends at home.

You must provide your own tools, be comfortable with vehicle electrical systems, basic networking, soldering and crimping, and be able to travel 100% during the week. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel 100% on weekdays (Mon-Fri) within the US.
• Own tools required for installations.
• Comfort with vehicle electrical systems and 12-volt tech safety.

Responsibilities

• Deploy 12-volt technology in fleet vehicles.
• Train on installation and use of client hardware & software.
• Provide own tools for installations (wrenches, etc.).
• Troubleshoot using a multimeter and related tools.
• Work with vehicle electrical systems safely and understand 12-volt basics.
• Solder wires and crimp connections correctly.
• Understand basic networking principles and devices.
• Frequent travel; home on weekends.
