Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Traveling Installation Technician for fleet deployments. You will install 12-volt technology in fleet vehicles, following training on our hardware and software, and work with customers to ensure proper setup.

This full-year contract role requires 100% travel Monday–Friday within the US, with weekends at home. You must provide your own tools and be comfortable with vehicle electrical systems, soldering, networking basics, and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience installing 12-volt systems in vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical diagrams.
• Comfort working with wiring and vehicle electronics.

Responsibilities

• Deploy 12-volt technology solutions in fleet vehicles.
• Undergo training for installation and use of our hardware and software.
• Provide your own tools for field installations.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting using a multimeter and other tools.
• Work with vehicle electrical systems and ensure safe practices.
• Solder wires and crimp connections using proper methods.
• Apply basic networking knowledge to devices and cabling.
• Possess Cradlepoint router knowledge or equivalent is a plus.
• Work both independently and in a team; travel 100% during the week.
