Job summary

Element Fleet Management in Hopkins, MN is hiring a Consultant, Truck and Upfit to design and implement upfit solutions that optimize fleet performance and safety. You will manage supplier relationships and guide multimillion-dollar procurement decisions to maximize rebates and revenue opportunities.

The role operates autonomously while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and client recommendations.

Qualifications

Three years' experience with truck and commercial vehicle specifications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Create upfit specifications for Class 1 through 5 vehicles with suppliers for quotes.
Develop RFQ packages and send to vendors for bid.
Document all client and vendor transactions and communications.
Analyze vehicle specs and duty cycles to advise improvements.
Collaborate with Strategic Alliances to introduce new vendors or equipment.
Attend or host client update meetings during the model year.
Build relations with OEMs, dealers, upfitters and suppliers.
Participate in training sessions and site visits when available.
Provide cross-functional support to Maintenance, Sales and Customer Service.
