Job summary

Inspiration Mobility seeks a proactive Vehicle Procurement Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of fleet acquisitions, from OEM ordering to upfit design and vendor performance. You will partner with internal teams and external suppliers to minimize downtime and deliver cost‑effective, timely deployments.

You will coordinate quotes, POs, and timelines, ensuring fleet standards are met while optimizing budgets. This role offers remote eligibility with occasional on‑site collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in upfit specifications, procurement methods, and vendor capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead upfit specifications and vendor management to coordinate vehicle customization and installations.
• Coordinate OEM ordering and factory coordination, manage delivery schedules and order modifcations.
• Own out‑of‑stock sourcing and supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
• Direct transportation coordination including carriers, tracking shipments, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain fleet data across procurement, upfit, and delivery tracking; develop SOPs and reports for visibility.
