Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain management with 3-5 years' supervisory experience.
• 20+ years in progressive logistics experience including driving, dispatch and fleet management will be considered.
• Experience with fleet leasing, SLAs, and TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to continuously improve transportation/logistics across USALCO plant operations.
• Manage all transportation assets, including IT equipment, tractors, and trailers.
• Oversee partnerships with leasing companies and ensure contractual targets are met.
• Develop and manage budgets and report variances.
• Develop KPI metrics for cost and asset utilization and ensure DOT compliance.
• Maintain data in the TMS system and supervise transportation staff.
• Lead dispatch, customer service, and ensure safe and compliant operations.
• Drive cost savings and continuous improvement through tech, training, and processes.
• Travel to plant locations and adapt to varying shifts and overtime as needed.
