Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Sr. Transportation Manager - Fleet Management based in The Woodlands, TX to lead the national fleet strategy and capital planning, balancing cost, quality, and performance to ensure high readiness and efficient operations.

You will oversee a large asset base and coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize fleet performance and sustainability initiatives across heavy and light fleets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Logistics from an accredited institution is essential.
• An MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• 7+ years of experience in fleet/transportation/operations, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to deliver financial, capital replacement, sustainability, and service goals for private fleets (heavy and light).
• Manage a fleet of over 4,000 assets and an annual budget of ~ $100 Million.
• Ensure fleet execution aligns with transportation requirements for internal and external customers.
• Foster cross-functional alignment with Transportation, Operations, and Commercial stakeholders.
• Lead transformation agenda within SC&Ops to advance sustainability goals.
• Identify productivity opportunities and develop a 5-year capital replacement plan.
• Drive continuous improvement in service and cost performance.
